Expertise
Brian is a partner in the Development Land Group at Matheson Ormsby Prentice. He specialises in property development law and negotiating related sale and purchase contracts. He advises on all areas of property, with particular expertise in the acquisition of development land and associated property rights to include, easements and wayleave agreements as may affect privately managed residential and mixed schemes.
Brian has acted for a number of leading developers in Ireland in relation to residential schemes, commercial developments and project developments.

Highlights
Brian has advised on:
- the acquisition of land in relation to the development of a privately owned electrical power station with project financing totalling €330 million
- easement and wayleave issues in relation to a group of 18 broadband internet schemes
- the purchase of a development site for the proposed construction of a private nursing home facility with the construction of 150 residential retirement homes
