Expertise
Alan is a partner in the Tax Department of Matheson Ormsby Prentice. He advises international corporations doing business in and through Ireland. He practices corporate tax specialising in inward investment, cross border tax planning and mergers and acquisitions. Alan also advises on Irish stamp duty matters, particularly in the context of global reorganisations. Prior to joining Matheson Ormsby Prentice, Alan worked with Mayer Brown LLP, London where he specialised in mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganisations.
Alan is a member of the Law Society of Ireland and the International Bar Association. Alan has written on Irish tax issues for the International Tax Review, the International Comparative Legal Guide and the Irish Tax Review.
