Practice Areas and Professional Experience
Lisa is a partner in the Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department at Matheson Ormsby Prentice where she focuses on property/planning disputes and product liability litigation.
Lisa regularly acts for large-scale property developers and builders in relation to property disputes and planning matters. In this regard she has considerable experience managing and dealing with property disputes before the Commercial Court and judicially reviewing the decisions of planning authorities.
She also has considerable experience in dealing with complex discovery/document disclosure type issues and has regularly advised and dealt with large-scale discovery applications.
Lisa has extensive experience in relation to defending high profile product liability cases brought in Ireland. She routinely advises product manufacturers and has also represented clients before statutory Tribunals of Inquiry.

- acting for a number of property developers in relation to initiating specific performance proceedings against proposed purchasers
- acted on behalf of a large scale property developer seeking declaratory relief in respect of a dispute involving a contract for the sale of land
- regularly acts on behalf of property developers seeking to overturn a decision of a planning authority
- advised Ickendel (the owner of Bewley's Cafe on Grafton Street) in respect of an ongoing dispute with their tenant, the Campbell Bewley Group, which was ultimately settled in the Commercial Court
- acting on behalf of a global pharmaceutical company in respect of Benzodiazepine litigation
- acted on behalf of a Philip Morris in personal injury litigation
- acted on behalf of an international blood manufacturing company in the context of HIV/Hepatitis C litigation
