First consent to construct strategic gas pipeline granted by Commission for Energy Regulation

The Commission for Energy Regulation has decided to grant a consent to Shannon LNG under the Gas Acts to construct a 26 km gas pipeline. The pipeline connects Shannon LNG's proposed LNG terminal at Kilcolgan Lower, County Kerry to the gas transmission system at Foynes, County Limerick. Michael O'Connor, Partner in the Projects, Energy & Construction Group assisted by Peter Mc Lay, Associate advised on the application to the Commission For Energy Regulation for the Consent.

Nicola Dunleavy, Partner in the Projects, Energy and Construction Group, was the sole advocate for Shannon LNG at the public hearing held by the Commission as part of the successful consent process.
