The MOP IT Support department serves the computing and information technology needs of Matheson Ormsby Prentice.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Department:

• Development, implementation and maintenance of information systems to support the operational and management information needs of the firm
• Development, implementation and maintenance of the networks, operating systems and technical infrastructure to underpin the above
• Delivers packaged and other software solutions in addition to meeting all the IT Support needs of our Legal and Tax professionals, professional support staff and all other IT users throughout the firm (including remote users)

The Position

The IT Service Desk Analyst will work on the MOP IT Service Desk providing comprehensive services to all users.

High level responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• The provision of a dedicated first and second level IT support function to users across the firm through:

• To provide day to day support on all aspects of the firms telephony and audio-visual systems
• To provide support firm-wide on a variety of technologies including:
  

• Willingness to work within a flexible schedule which is based on shifts from 7:30am to 7:00pm
• Participate on the on-call service which provides emergency support on a daily basis between 7:00pm and 7:30am Mon-Fri, weekends and public holidays.
  

Reporting to:
IT Manager.

The Person
The successful candidate will have:

• Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills
• A good appreciation of PC applications, printing and internet technologies
• Expertise in MS Office 2003 and later versions, document management systems and financial systems would be an advantage.
• A relevant IT qualification and two years IT helpdesk experience.
